"How do you deal with unanswered prayers?"
A random question

Subject: a random question
Hi!
I've been a follower of your works for a while now. :) Just wanted to drop a question as I've noticed you're a believer - how do you deal with unanswered prayers? I'll sit down to hear (or rather, read) your thoughts if ever you're down to share them.
I hope you're having a great day while reading this.
Thanks!
Nara
My (attempt to) reply
Hi Nara,
Good to hear from you. That is a tough, age-old question.
For me, I try not to forget these things:
I'm usually not good, but God is always good.
I'm usually not right, but God is always right.
I know little (about myself), but God knows all (about me).
Then, I remember how Christ prayed.
And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
I hope your unanswered prayers get answered soon, even if the outcome is not exactly what you had hoped for.
Hogeon

Yes you're right, and I don't think there are any unanswered prayers. Prayers are answered in a number of ways: given on the spot, given but delayed, and given but in another form. Believe me, God is always listening to us and he knows better what we need than what we want♥︎♥︎♥︎
Love this🙌 God isn't a genie who gives us whatever we want (even our selfish desires). Our prayers are meant to be aligned to His character & will.
